Since October 13th not much has been said about the second missing inmate from Hays State Prison, Michael Tweedell.  The focus of the manhunt for the two missing inmates seemed to center around Johnny Mack Brown who has been recaptured. However, Tweedell remains at large.

While Brown’s crimes may have been more heinous, Tweedell is not stranger to crime or prison.  He has been in and out of Georgia Prison’s since 1978, on a variety of charges from drugs to armed robbery. 

According to the Department of Corrections web site, Tweedell is officially listed as "escaped".  Reportedly the last sighting of Tweedell was near Adairsville several weeks ago.
