This morning’s storms left widespread damage across Cherokee County, Alabama.  Marc Summers with WEIS Radio told AM 1180 that the roof was blown off New Bethel Church on Highway 411 north of Center.  Numerous reports of trees blown down on homes, mobile homes and cars are coming in throughout the Cherokee County area.  Power outages and wind damage is reported in Springarden, Cedar Bluff and Centre.
