STRONG HIGH PRESSURE BUILDING IN FROM THE WEST WILL CONTINUE TO COMBINE LOW PRESSURE OVER THE ATLANTIC TODAY CREATING WINDY CONDITIONS. NORTHWEST WINDS OF 20 TO 30 MPH WITH GUSTS OF UP TO 35 MPH WILL BE LIKELY.

A WIND ADVISORY MEANS THAT SUSTAINED WINDS OF 20 TO 35 MPH OR WIND GUSTS OF AT LEAST 35 MPH ARE EXPECTED. WINDS THIS STRONG CAN MAKE DRIVING DIFFICULT… ESPECIALLY FOR HIGH PROFILE VEHICLES. USE EXTRA CAUTION.

A FIRE WEATHER WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM THURSDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH THURSDAY EVENING.

THIS WATCH INCLUDES THE CHATTAHOOCHEE AND OCONEE NATIONAL FORESTS.

DRY FUEL MOISTURE CONDITIONS WILL COMBINE WITH RELATIVE HUMIDITIES OF 25 PERCENT OR LESS CREATING DANGEROUS FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS.
