THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN PEACHTREE CITY HAS ISSUED A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SNOW… WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM 1 AM TO 1 PM EST MONDAY.

AREAS OF LIGHT RAIN… SNOW AND SLEET ARE EXPECTED TO MOVE INTO NORTHWEST GEORGIA LATE THIS EVENING… AND QUICKLY CHANGE OVER TO ALL SNOW AND SPREAD TO THE SOUTH AND EAST. TEMPERATURES WILL DROP TO NEAR 30 MONDAY MORNING. ACCUMULATIONS OF 1 TO 2 INCHES ARE EXPECTED ALONG AND NORTH OF A COLUMBUS TO JACKSON TO WASHINGTON LINE THROUGH MIDDAY MONDAY.
