The Georgia State Patrol released a report on an accident that happened on Monday of this week that sent a thirty year old Summerville woman to the hospital. According to the report Amber Nicole Woody was driving on Trion-Teloga Road near Saddle Club Road when she lost control of her 1999 Isuzu Rodeo and left the roadway.
Ms. Woody attempted to regain control of the vehicle and crashed into a fence. According to the report over fifty feet of a barbed wire and page wire fence were taken out by the vehicle. The woman had to be extracted from the vehicle with the Jaws of Life and was taken to Floyd Medical Center by Redmond EMS. The investigation into the accident is not complete according to the Georgia State Patrol Post in Rome.
