A Summerville woman reported unauthorized withdrawals from her bank account earlier this week.
Cheris Chadwick told a responding deputy that several withdrawals had been made from her account that she did not authorize. Chadwick said that the withdrawals happened last week while she was out of town. She said that she was getting automated text messages from her bank saying that the wrong password had been entered on her online banking account.
When she arrived back home and checked with the bank, Ms. Chadwick discovered that three withdrawals had been made from her account, without her permission. Two of the withdrawals were made at the Kroger Supermarket in Newnan for $136.36 and $152.34. A third unauthorized withdrawal of $10.06 was paid to Facebook.
Chadwick asked that a report be filed at the request of her bank.
