Chattooga County work crews continued to work cleaning up debris from the roadways in Cloudland and Teloga affected by the tornado on Sunday morning.

Chattooga County Public Works Director Lamar Canada told AM 1180 on Tuesday evening that his crews would be out cleaning up trees from the sides of the road throughout the day today.  Canada said that crews had made good progress in getting the roads cleared and now the removal of storm-damaged trees on the sides of the road can begin.

Many residents of Chattooga County who were affected by the tornado are still waiting to hear from their insurance companies regarding the damage.
