On Monday afternoon law enforcement officials and emergency workers responded to a one vehicle rollover involving an 18 wheeler on Highway 35 in Gaylesville.

The driver of the 2007 Freightliner, identified as 28 year old Rossville, Georgia resident James Beddington, apparently lost control of the rig, veering off the roadway and flipping the truck onto its top, spilling lumber along the side of the highway.

Beddington was removed from the vehicle by firefighters, paramedics, and other rescue personnel, and taken to an area hospital by ambulance, for treatment of what appeared to be minor injuries.

It took over 8 hours for crews to clean-up the debris.

That accident remains under investigation
