Georgia Agriculture Commissioner Tommy Irvin alerts consumers to the recall of a Canadian yogurt that has walnuts and plums not listed as ingredients.

Liberté Brand Products, St Hubert, Quebec, Canada recalls all Liberté Méditerranée Wild Blackberry Yogourt, packaged in six-oz. retail plastic cups.  The product, distributed in the United States, has the UPC code 0 65684 65434 5 and the Sept 02 expiration date printed on the foil lid.

Those who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to walnuts run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume this yogurt.

Georgia Department of Agriculture inspectors are checking store shelves to make sure the product is being removed from sale.
