The University of Georgia Extension in Chattooga County is excited to offer summer camps for students in grades 4 through 12. Sign-ups begin today, Monday, February 17th, at 8 AM at the Agriculture Building on 40 Middle School Road in Summerville.

There are five camps scheduled in June and July. The Cloverleaf Camp for 4th to 6th graders will occur at Rock Eagle from June 2nd to June 6th, costing $440. The Junior Camp for 7th and 8th graders runs from June 16th to June 20th at Camp Fortson for $415. This camp focuses on leadership skills. High school students can participate in Senior Camp at Camp Jekyll from July 7th to July 11th for $490, which emphasizes personal development and teamwork. The Wilderness Challenge Camp is planned at Camp Wahsega from June 30th to July 4th for $415, allowing campers to learn resilience and survival skills. The Marine Resources Camp will be held at Camp Burton on Tybee Island from June 9th to June 13th or July 7th to July 11th, each costing $490, where participants will learn about marine science.
