With Independence Day being on a Sunday this year, governmental offices and the postal service will not be operating today, Monday, July 5th.

Summerville, Trion, Menlo and Lyerly municipal offices will be closed today.  Both Summerville and Trion issued press releases telling residents if they have an emergency with local utilities, they should contact Chattooga 911 and the proper person would be dispatched.  Chattooga County Governmental offices are closed today as well.

The Crushed Tomato in Summerville – Closed All Week For Vacation (Reopening on Tuesday, July 13th)

Jim’s Restaurant – Closed until 7 AM Tuesday, July 6th

Henry’s BBQ – Closed All Week For Vacation (Reopening Monday, July 12th)

Menlo Restaurant – Closed All Week For Vacation (Reopening Monday, July 12th)

The Burger Shack – Closed Today (Reopening Tuesday, July 6th)

According to their posted hours and websites, Wal-Mart, Ingles and Marvins will all be open with regular hours today.
