An off-duty Walker County deputy reported seeing a man with no pants on, running around in a public area on Monday evening near the “Shell in the Hole” in Trion.

When Chattooga County deputies arrived on the scene, they spoke with Walker County Deputy Brandon Broome, who said that he and his wife were returning home from having dinner in Rome when they saw the man with no pants.  Employees at the gas station told responding deputies that the man had come inside the store with no pants on.

Deputies found some pants for the man to put on and arrested Jeffery Hines, listed as homeless, on charges of disorderly conduct.
