A Hemphill Road, Summerville woman was arrested early Tuesday morning by a Chattooga County Sheriff’s Deputy after admitting to smoking a joint earlier in the day and driving impaired.

According to arrest records, Tammy Irene Hall was stopped after a deputy noticed her rear tag-light was out.  Hall told the deputy that she was on her way to work at the time.  The deputy said that he noticed that Ms. Hall’s eyes were bloodshot and asked if she was under the influence of any drugs.  At that point, Hall told the deputy that she had smoked a joint an hour or two before.

Hall failed a sobriety test and was arrested for DUI for drugs.
