A vehicle was taken for a joyride but was returned before the owner discovered it missing, according to Summerville Police Officers.

Somewhere between 11 pm and 6:30 am on June 30th and July 1st, Randy Tuckers 2003 Chevy Trailblazer left its parking spot, but not with Tucker as the driver.

Tucker told Officers that while the vehicle was parked in its normal parking spot, that when he went out he noticed mud on the exterior and fresh vegetation hanging underneath the vehicle when there had previously been none. The SUV was also still warm to the touch. A look inside revealed that both the front drivers seat and the front passengers seat were wet and muddy. A tool box in the back seat had also been moved so that someone could sit behind the drivers seat. Tucker also stated that the key, which had been placed in the cupholder underneath a drink, was now missing along with the insurance paperwork from the dash.

This case is still active.
