A local church plans to give away 500 bookbags, along with toys, shoes, personal hygiene essentials and more at an event that will be held next Saturday, July 24, 2021.

North Summerville Baptist Church, located at 119 Maplewood Drive in Summerville, will be hosting the back-to-school giveaway from 10:30 AM until 1 PM at the church.

In addition to the back-to-school items, children can be entered for a chance to win a new bicycle and their will be a free lunch as well.
