The Summerville Police Department has reported several thefts over the past week, according to reports.

The first report came in last week when Officers responded to a Taylor Street address where they met with David Edgeman. Edgeman reported that at some point someone had entered his outbuilding and had taken a blue toolbox with a black handle. Inside the toolbox were various tools including wrenches and sockets. Some of the tools were Craftsman brand and others had Edgemans initials carved into them. According to the report, Edgeman did have several suspects in mind.

Early this week, another theft was reported, this time on Dowdy Drive. According to complainant Melody Pierce, someone entered her residence and took a virtual reality video game system. This gaming system was valued at $320.

Both cases are still active.
