The Chattooga County Sheriff’s Office was called to a Middleton Lane, Summerville address this week regarding a theft of property.

When they arrived and spoke with the complainant, he said that his fiancé had taken several items from the residence, including a television, a grill, two electronic tablets and some other items.  There was video footage supplied to the sheriff’s office that confirmed the man’s fiancé had help loading up items from the residence into a red, Dodge truck.

The complainant, Jason Kasterhubler, told the responding deputy that he suspects that his fiancé’s friends from Ohio had helped her load the items in the truck and that he thinks she has left to go back to Ohio.

According to records from the sheriff’s department, the couple have had domestic incidents recently and both claimed ownership of the items.

Mr. Kasterhubler was told to take the matter to magistrate court.
