The Catoosa County Sheriff’s Office announced on Wednesday that authorities have identified remains found in a remote area of the county as Noah Davis who has been missing since August of 2014.  Davis was twenty-four-years-old at the time of his disappearance.

According to Catoosa County Sheriff Gary Sisk, neither the remains or where they were found provide any more clues as to Davis’s cause of death.

Sheriff Sisk says investigators interviewed dozens of people who claimed to have knowledge about reported circumstances surrounding Davis’s disappearance and the location of his body, but have no credible leads.

“The coronavirus pandemic caused the delay of many investigations, including this case,” Sheriff Sisk said. “Despite the delays, we were determined to continue this investigation. We can confirm Davis’s death, but we have no evidence as to how he died.”
