The Town of Trion has scheduled a called meeting for the Trion Town Council that will be held on Tuesday evening at 5:30 PM.

According to an agenda released by the Town of Trion, the council will be asked to approve new hires at the waste water treatment plant and the Trion Recreation Department.  Also, the council will discuss the “emergency purchase” of a mower for the town.

The council is also expected to discuss an contractual agreement from the Trion City School system to move the Trion Police Department to the school.

The meeting will be held at 5:30 PM at Trion Town Hall and the public is invited to attend.
