With the beginning of a new school year, the Trion Police Department wants to remind parents about the school release schedule.

Police and school officials say that if you arrive early to pick up your students, you will be asked to “make the circle” and come back at release times.  The times are as follows:

Pre-k: 2 PM arrival – 2:10 PM dismissal

K-1: 2:20 PM arrival – 2:30 PM dismissal

3-5: 2:50 PM arrival – 2:55 dismissal

6-8: 3:05 PM arrival – 3:10 dismissal

Trion Police Chief David Gilliland says officers will be on the hill at the school helping to make sure traffic is flowing when school is released.
