Even thought the thief left behind some Little Debbie snack cakes, one returning homeowner was not happy to find other items missing from his house.

Around 5 p.m. last Friday Summerville Police Officers met with John Smith at his residence on Spearmint Trail. Smith told Officers that upon arriving home from a stint in jail, he noticed his Little Debbies on his porch. Smith discovered that someone had entered the interior of his home and had made a mess. Missing from the home was a DVD player, a pistol BB gun, and a carton of cigarettes.

Smith also stated that at some point earlier, a neighbor had called him and told him that some items were missing. Officers advised Smith that a report would be made of the incident and asked Smith to try and locate a serial number for the DVD player.
