Due to a COVID exposure and illness, Chattooga County Tax Commissioner Joy Hampton says her office will be CLOSED for the remainder of this week.

Tax Commissioner Hampton released this statement on Thursday evening:

“The tag/tax office will be closed for the remainder of the week. I will assess our situation over the weekend and give an update for next week as soon as I know. Tags can be renewed online at https://eservices.drives.ga.gov I will be processing mail, web and drop box items daily, so I urge you to utilize those. I am available on Facebook messenger for urgent questions and will answer as quickly as I can.”
