The Chattooga County Health Department will be hosting a COVID-19 immunization clinic on Labor Day next week.
The event will run from 9 AM until Noon on Monday, September 6, 2021.
Chattooga County Health Department Nurse Manager Judy Wesson told WZQZ News, “The pandemic remains extremely worrisome and is now mostly a pandemic of the unvaccinated. Most new cases, hospitalizations, and people in critical care units on ventilators are unvaccinated. Almost 70% of our Chattooga County population is not fully vaccinated. The vaccines work. They are safe and prevent serious illness, hospitalization, and death. Protect yourself, your loved ones, and others in our community. If you haven’t yet, please get vaccinated now.”
The vaccinations are FREE and there is no appointment necessary.
