Summerville Police were called to a local gas station last week after a man reported being hit by a vehicle while walking from his car to the gas station.

Brandon Bartlett told a responding Summerville Police Officer that he had pumped his gas and was walking inside the store when a pickup truck ran over his heel.  Bartlett told the officer that he didn’t believe he needed medical attention at the time, but wanted a report on file in case he needed to go to the doctor later.

Summerville Police were able to identify the driver of the Chevy S-10 pickup truck that reportedly struck Bartlett by viewing store security footage.
