If you have to make a trip to urgent care, you will not be able to have anyone else go in with you.  Urgent Care centers in Chattooga County have adopted this policy to help curb the number of people who might be exposed to COVID-19 by a visit to urgent care.

If you are over the age of eighteen and don’t have any physical or mental disabilities, the “no-visitor” rule will apply to you.  Children under the age of eighteen are of course exempt from the policy.

While, Redmond Urgent Care centers do allow for one visitor per patient, they say that should only be “if necessary.”  Redmond issued this statement regarding their urgent care visitor policy: “To limit the overall traffic in our clinics, we are limited patient companions to only one (1) essential person, if necessary.”
