The Friends of Sloppy Floyd State Park recently wrapped up one of their biggest fundraisers of the year – The Twisted Ankle Race.
The challenging race draws runners from all over and raises money for the Friends of Sloppy Floyd to support their events throughout the year and improvements at the state park in Summerville.
On Friday of last week, Friends of Sloppy Floyd Volunteer Coordinator, Martha Stamps, spoke to the Summerville Optimist Club Friday about upcoming events planned at the park for the fall.
The Friends of Sloppy Floyd State Park supports the park through volunteering, fundraising, and working to make the park a place for all to enjoy.
