If you’ve ever wanted a career in law enforcement as a Georgia State Trooper, now is the time to act.  The Georgia Department of Public Safety announced this week, they are extending the deadline to apply for the Accelerated Trooper School.

The deadline has been extended to September 28, 2021.

The good news is, those who qualify for the trooper school that starts in January of next year, will start receiving the trooper pay of $47,350 per year, instead of the normal cadet pay of $36,932.

Applicants must pass a background check and a oral interview before being accepted.
