Georgia offers three Free Fishing Days in honor of National Fishing and Boating Week and National Hunting and Fishing Day and today, September 25, 2021, is one of them! So, for today residents do NOT need a fishing license or a trout license to fish on any public waters in the state including lakes, streams, ponds and public fishing areas.
