Based on a continued reduction in positive COVID cases and quarantines, Walker County Schools will change to 4-day in-person learning.
Beginning Monday, October 4th, students will attend school on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday… Wednesday will remain a hybrid day-at home… while classrooms are disinfected.
Schools will follow this schedule the week of October 4-8… then students will have Fall Break the week of October 11-15.
Students will return to school on Monday, October 18-22 under the new adjusted hybrid instructional model of 4-days per week.
Walker School’s goal is to return to a full 5-day, in-person week as quickly and safely as possible, according to the system release.
