Summerville Police arrested two men after a traffic stop on Tuesday evening for possession of methamphetamine.
Police say that the driver of a 2005 Mercury Grand Marquis was observed crossing the double yellow line on Northwest Congress Street. When the officer pulled the vehicle over and spoke with the driver, the officer noticed that the driver’s pupils were very enlarged and suspected the driver might have been using a stimulant.
After receiving consent to search the vehicle, police found a glass pipe and a bag of suspected methamphetamine.
Neither the driver, or the passenger in the vehicle took responsibility for the drugs, so both were placed under arrest.
Police charged nineteen-year-old John Brandon Glass and thirty-year-old John Howard Trammell with drug possession and possession of drug related objects. Both were booked into the Chattooga County Jail.
