Chattooga County Sheriff Mark Schrader is inviting the community out to a free event at the Chattooga County Civic Center on Friday for the “National Faith & Blue Weekend.”

According to the National Faith & Blue website, “National Faith & Blue Weekend is an extension of the One Congregation One Precinct initiative (OneCOP), a program of MovementForward, Inc., which is a bridge-building, solutions-focused human and civil rights organization based in Atlanta, Georgia. The OneCOP initiative pairs together officers at the beat or precinct level with local houses of worship.”

The local event will be held at the Civic Center at 10 AM on Friday (October 8) starting at 10 AM.  Free coffee will be provided by Great Awakening Coffee.  Everyone is invited to attend.
