The Chattooga High School Welding Team recently took second place in national competition.  The team consists of William Elrod, Gaven Jarrett and Marrion Mosteller. 

The team worked together to complete their project.  The competitions were held remotely.  The team received tools from Smith Iron Works and Evans Welding and Fabrications.  CHS Welding Instructor Jeff Owings said that he was pleased and that the team did a “fantastic job in competition.”
