It will be a rare Thursday night football game for the Trion Bulldogs coming up this evening as they hit the road to take on the Armuchee Indians.

WZQZ News reported yesterday that Armuchee High School contacted Trion officials on Monday and told them that the game was being moved to Thursday.  Trion School Supt. Dr. Phil Williams said that normally when a game night is being changed, the host school will contact the visiting school ahead of time, but that wasn’t the case this week.

Also, WZQZ News was told by officials at Armuchee High School that Floyd County Schools are now charging $500 to live-stream football games.  They are also charging a fee for radio broadcasts of any games at a Floyd County School.  Due to the Floyd County School policy, WZQZ regrets that we will not be able to live-stream the game tonight, but you can listen on 99.1FM as Ben Groce and Jeremy Burke bring you the play-by-play.

Due to the change in schedule, WZQZ will be broadcasting Friday’s Chattooga Indians game on the radio and will have the audio on our Facebook Page.
