A Marvin Avenue, Summerville woman reported the theft of three rings earlier this week.

The complainant told a responding officer that she had four rings in a snuff container and had gotten the rings out to show them to her neighbor and her granddaughter.  The complainant then spent some time in the hospital and when she returned home she found that the rings were missing from the snuff container.

No value was listed on the rings in the report from the Summerville Police Department.

The case is under investigation.
