A Summerville man was arrested on drug charges in Floyd County after a traffic stop by Floyd County Police.

According to a report from the Floyd County Police, fifty-seven-year-old Anthony Guy Brown of Summerville was in a vehicle with sixty-one-year-old Terry Lamar Bean of Ringgold when their vehicle was pulled over on Highway 27.

Officers found the two men to be in possession of methamphetamine along with drug-related objects and an open container of alcohol.  Brown and Bean were both charged with possession of methamphetamine.

Bean was also charged with possession of meth with intent to distribute.
