This week, two of Georgia’s state-wide officeholders endorsed incumbent Governor Brian Kemp for reelection.

Georgia Attorney General Chris Carr said, “Governor Brian Kemp has shown incredible leadership during very challenging times, and I am proud to stand with him. Under Governor Kemp, Georgians are safer and our economy is thriving because he took a balanced approach during the pandemic that protected both lives and livelihoods. He is battling crime by going after gangs and human trafficking, he has created tens of thousands of new jobs, and he is aggressively pushing back against the unlawful Biden mandates and federal overreach. On one tough issue after another, Brian Kemp has governed as a decisive conservative, and that’s what we need for four more years.”

Georgia’s Insurance and Fire Safety Commissioner John King endorsed Kemp as well saying, “From championing law enforcement bonuses and decrying the ‘Defund the Police’ movement to attending the funerals of those lost in the line of duty, Governor Brian Kemp has an undeniable commitment to our men and women in uniform. As a lawman and soldier, I am proud to stand with Governor Kemp as he seeks re-election in 2022 because he unapologetically stands with us – and always will.”

Kemp will be seeking the Republican nomination for reelection in 2022.
