An employee of AT&T contacted the Chattooga County Sheriff’s Office over the weekend to report the theft of copper wire from AT&T property on Money Drive in Summerville.

According to a report from the sheriff’s office, Chris Woods with AT&T said that copper wires were stolen from the AT&T cell phone tower sometime between May of this year and last weekend.  Around six copper wires, valued at $1,000, were reported missing.

The company asked for a report to be on file for the company’s damages.
