
The Chattooga Indian’s 2021 football season came to an end on the road last night in the first round of GHSA playoff action against Haralson County.
With an exception of one touchdown and seven points on the board and a couple of big plays, the Indians were no match for the Rebels. The Indians came up short with a final score of 34-7.
Number-six-ranked Haralson County was 10-1 on the season and won their first-ever region title this season and achieved their first 10-win season since 1990 with the first-round win over the Chattooga Indians. Clay Hyatt rushed for four touchdowns and JoJo Chandler also rushed for a touchdown to best the Indians.
