
Summerville Police say that a thirty-eight-year-old Walker County woman tried to avoid arrest last week on an outstanding warrant.
According to a report from Summerville Police, an officer pulled over Alicia Young of a Foster Mill Drive, LaFayette address on Wednesday of last week. When officers approached the vehicle, Young locked her doors in an attempt to avoid talking with the officer.
Police were trying to serve two outstanding warrants.
In addition to going to jail for the outstanding warrants, Young had a disorderly conduct charge added in connection with the incident.
