A Menlo woman was arrested at Walmart after she allegedly attempted to shoplift by “skip-scanning”.

According to report from the Chattooga County Sheriff’s Office, a Walmart employee saw the woman scan only part of the items she brought to the self-scan registers and then attempted to leave the store without paying.

The value of the items she failed to scan and pay for was $79.62, according to the Walmart employee.

Thirty-four-year-old Casey Wooden was arrested and charged with shoplifting and was booked into the Chattooga County Jail.
