A traffic stop last month ended with a twenty-three-year-old Summerville man being taken to jail on a variety of drug charges, according to an incident report released this week by the Summerville Police Department. Law enforcement was conducting a check-point at East Washington and Penn Street in Summerville when they noticed a driver with dilated pupils.  The driver, identified as Logan Crabtree of a Summerville Gardens address, told an officer about a marijuana “blunt” in his hat.   With that information, officers asked for consent to search the vehicle.

Inside the vehicle, officers found a total of seven marijuana “blunts” along with suspected cocaine.

Crabtree was charged with possession of cocaine, possession of marijuana less than an ounce and possession of drug related objects and was booked into the Chattooga County Jail.
