Summerville Police responded to a call from a complainant saying that his personal financial information had been compromised and someone was using his financial transaction card to order food via the Door Dash delivery service.

The complainant told the officer that he had reported the incidents to his financial institution and that they requested a police report in order to investigate the transactions.  According to the complainant, his card had been used at least four times by someone ordering food from Jerry’s Drive-In in Summerville and Wendy’s in Trion.

The responding officer asked the complainant to bring his financial transaction information to the police department and the case would be turned over to an investigator.
