Summerville Police were called to the Circle K on Commerce Street last week after an employee reported damage to a gas pump.

The employee said that a man came in and pumped gas and then drove off with the nozzle still in his tank, causing damage to the pump.  The employee also said that while the man, who was described as a white male in his 20’s or 30’s, fell down and hit his head on the pavement while pumping his gas.

The man drove off in a black Chevrolet Silverado.

The employee did not get a tag number and police were unable to locate the man, according to the report.
