
After obtaining several admissions that drugs had been purchased at a particular address, LaFayette Police made a “parole check” at a trailer located at 49 Fortune Street.
In the kitchen, police located a box with 22 grams of field-tested meth, digital scales, cash, marijuana and syringes.
The resident, forty-six-year-old Sean Russell Godfrey, admitted the drugs were his – according to the Police report.
Godfrey was jailed on charges including possession of drugs with intent to distribute, possession of tools to commit a crime and a parole violation.
