A fifty-five-year-old Summerville man was arrested after an altercation at a Summerville oil-change business.

According to Summerville Police David Lee Daniel is accused of spitting on an employee at the Valvoline Quick Lube on Commerce Street.  Daniel also allegedly attempted to kick the tail light out of a vehicle at the business.  Police say that Daniel said that an employee at the business “almost ran over him” at the intersection of First Street and Highway 27.

According to the report from the police department, Daniel said that his actions were because “he was tired of people messing with him.”

Daniel was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct and booked into the Chattooga County Jail.
