A pedestrian was transported to an area hospital for treatment after being struck by a vehicle on Rome Road near Old Rome Road in Gordon County Tuesday night.
According to the Georgia State Patrol, the preliminary investigation shows that a 2017 Chrysler Pacifica, driven by 49-year old Kristi Stevens, was traveling east on in a non-lighted area on Rome Road.
43-year old Mark Larson was walking east on the shoulder, with traffic, and was struck by the Pacifica.
The wreck occurred just before 7 PM on Tuesday.
