After interviewing several candidates, the Chattooga County School System has hired Chattooga County resident and Chattooga High School graduate, Larry Wilson to be the new facilities director for the school system.

School Board Chairman Eddie Elsberry told WZQZ News that it was important to select the right candidate for the position with the new construction going on at Menlo Elementary School.  Elsberry expressed confidence in Wilson and said that he will be an asset to the school system as construction continues at the new school in Menlo.  Elsberry added that former facilities director John Worsham was hired by the Floyd County School system to be their facilities director, but he is still consulting with local school officials as needed.

Larry Wilson has over thirty years experience in the construction and electrical fields and is a 1983 graduate of Chattooga High School.
