The Georgia Department of Natural Resources’ Summerville Trout Hatchery in Summerville, Georgia is looking to fill a seasonal (March-August) hatchery technician position.

The candidate must be at least 18 years of age, able to pass a criminal background check, and possess a valid driver’s license. Forty hours per week; not to exceed 168 days of total employment. Work hours are 8:00am – 4:30pm Monday through Friday. The pay rate is 10.83/hour. The job entails work in all aspects of rainbow trout, lake sturgeon, walleye culture, and facility maintenance. This is a great opportunity to gain valuable hatchery work experience.
