The Chattooga River Group (CRG) will be hosting their First Annual Chattooga River Fest on April 30th and May 1st at Angus McLeod Memorial Park in Lyerly, GA.

The main attraction is the All-American Lumberjack Show from Minnesota. A kayak paddle from Lyerly to Chattoogaville and a fishing tournament all along the Chattooga River down to Lake Weiss will take place on Saturday, and the North Georgia Cruisers will host a car show on the festival grounds. Both days, there will be live music, demos & talks, a kids carnival, and a variety of vendors (both commercial & food). Festival runs 11a-8p on Saturday and 1p-7p on Sunday. Free parking. $5 gate admission. All proceeds go to fund cleanup, conservation and development projects along the Chattooga River in Chattooga County, GA.
