An early-morning fire on Thursday across the state line between Blanche and Gaylesville left a mobile home destroyed.
Gaylesville, Broomtown and Cedar Bluff units responded to reports of a mobile home fire just prior to 4:00am Thursday – on County Road 125 near Highway 35.
Floyd EMS units also responded as a precautionary measure.
The cause of the fire remains unknown at this time; no information was immediately made available as to whether or not anyone was at home during the fire.
